What kind of air-con units is the Air Wing compatible with?
The Air Wing can be used with almost all models of air-con units that utilise the slit or line style vents. E.g. those embedded in the ceiling, the circular, floor and built-in types etc.
If the exhaust of the air-con unit is longer than the Air Wing, will it still be effective?
This will depend greatly on where the unit is and how the Air Wing is attached.It is usually possible, with the right placement, to get an effective result.
In most cases where the air-con’s exhaust vent is overly large, use of multiple Air wings together usually resolves the issue.

Is any modification or a specialised engineer required to attach the Air Wing?
As a general rule when attaching an Air Wing, no specialised knowledge or modifications are required.
Professional, slim and small - our specially designed adapter fixes directly to the surface of the air-con unit with double-sided tape. Connecting the Air Wing to the adapter couldn’t be simpler.
As only the adapter itself is attached to the actual outlet port, it allows for an easy and effortless installation.

Is there a way to install without using the double-sided tape?
It is possible to mount the Air Wing to a 4-vent, embedded in the ceiling style of air-con unit without the use of the double-sided tape.
As shown in the following photos, you can insert the foot of the Air Wing into the gap between the air-con unit and the ceiling.
If this is done firmly, there will be no need to worry about it falling.

Can I use the same purchase under the extremes of both summer (cool air) and winter (hot air)?
"The Air Wing can be used all year round without concern.
Furthermore, the orientation of the Air Wing's main body can be reversed, and the angle adjusted to a maximum of 180°. This allows you to direct the airflow from your air-con unit to effectively alleviate both the heat of summer and the cold of winter."

Is any maintenance required?
As a general rule, no maintenance is required; however, if the body of the Air Wing becomes dirty, disconnect it from the adapter and wipe it clean using a soft cloth and a mild household detergent. Please allow time for the Air Wing to fully dry before reconnecting.
Also, if you are planning to install this product using the provided double-sided tape, make sure the target surface is both level and free of dust, dirt or oil. Clean the area with a light detergent and soak up any remaining moisture with a dry cloth.

Is there a risk of the product falling off?
As long as the below installation procedure is observed, there should be no issue with the unit coming loose or falling.
① Before you mount the adapter, make sure the surface you are sticking it to is both level and free of dust, dirt or oil. Clean the area with a light detergent and soak up any remaining moisture with a dry cloth.
② Inspect the surface once more to confirm that it is clean and has been left to dry completely (remaining moisture may prevent the adhesive seal from bonding). Then, taking the adapter only (the main parts will be connected later), stick it to the mounting area and press down firmly.
③ Remain holding the adapter tighlty in place for at least 30 seconds.
④ Once the adhesive seal has firmly taken hold, attach the main body of the Air Wing!
